Tora Chan has already moved to Lamma Island lol.

I don't think there is much need to further add to this thread, as the original poster aka as Tora Chan has already chosen her piece of HKG urban nirvana, far enough away from the concrete inner city jungle.

travina can only hope to improve
Tuen Mun is a good place to live, for e.g. HK$4500 can rent 2 bedroom apartment size: 550 sq.ft. at Sun Tuen Mun Centre. U have not problem to get back in the mid night. Also, the transportation is convience to other areas. But the only porblems is the transportation cost and time will be more.

Smile Thank You Everybody !

Yes, I just moved to lamma last week... sorry I didn't mention that here.
well, some says I'm crazy, some says it is great.
It is far from convenient (ha ha) but I can open the window without listening to traffic is just great. Stray cats visiting me to my balcony is kind of fun. Dogs are walking around everywhere like those cows in india.
One thing I almost forgot to think about here was.. there are too many people on the weekend.
I think they are going to hiking or something?
And, it could be very expensive or time consuming to buy some furniture. Many shops just deliver up to the pier in CTL and you have to do the rest by yourself.
IKEA's minimum delivery charge to islands is 700 something.
But overall, I love it.

Thank you again for gave me a lot of advice and I hope this thread would be a benefit for other people looking for a place in HK.

Hi there,
I'm very much interested in getting the contact number of your property agent because I'm currently looking for a new flat that I can rent for only about HK$6,000. Will appreciate very much your reply or an SMS reply to my mobile phone 6423-7799. Thanks very much. Jun

jun, I know only lamma property agents.
Actually if you go there (Yunshuewan side) there are some on the main street. if you seriously want to look for, you should visit all because each of them only have one or two small apartments.
mine is
DOLLARUL REAL ESTATET AGENCY: 29820938
6K is enough in Lamma

If you want to see other part of HK, I guess you could ask other people who gave us reply here..

Why dont you try Mahonshan in Shatin, it is quite nice and close to KCR station and also a lot of bus and mini bus transport.
Apartment rates anywhere from 6 to 10 thousand for a two bedroom flat around 700 sq. Ft. It is in the vicinity of Shatin
