I am new and been reading a little bit from the last thread. Wanted to wait for you ladies to come back from your trip and suddenly found out that the thread was closed. I am currently in Seoul and my husband and i will be moving to Hong Kong this June. We've been here for 2 years already now. I have no friends in HK and thought of making some online first before we actually move there. Can I join you ladies? And even though I am not there right now, it would be nice to just chat and get to know other expats' wives. In between, hope the trip was a fun one!

Quick FYI - we generally close threads once they hit a certain age, as everyone there gets a notification every time a new post is made - several folks on that thread are no longer in HK.

Next .. the thread was getting abused by one member who was trying to promote their classes as "social events". No can do ...

Thank you Iduj and Dragonfly Hope everyone is well and enjoying the Sunday. Yes, I can't wait to get there and explore HK. We will be relocating to HK island. Hope if there is any meet-up or lunch date, I hope it won't be too far from my place. We are looking at apartments in Pokfulam and maybe Aberdeen. Are there any ladies out there staying around the area?

Hi everyone.

Nicky, Lynne and myself are all back from England and looking forward to catching up with you all. We are planning a lunch / leisurely stroll next week.

Meetup - Tuesday 8th April 11am

Place - Pacific Place - Starbucks (the one on the ground floor - NOT the top floor one by the taxi rank)

Plan - Leisurely stroll around HK park followed by lunch in the park restaurant - hopefully sat outside in the pleasant sunshine!!!

If when we meet the weather is looking shitty we will revise the plan!!

Looking forward to seeing some of you next week.

All new people welcome and looking forward to meeting you.

Please let me know who is coming as I will book the restaurant if it is larger numbers.
