Yo, this Thurs and next Thurs is getting a little confusing here....okay, this is how it goes....

KKKK and Mrsmon meeting up tmr (15 Apr) at Happy Valley.

Roxy likes to meet up this Thurs (17 Apr)....nothing scedule yet but I am okay after 2:15pm ....anywhere in the island. Roxy, do u want to suggest venue/time and see if anyone can join us?

KKKK responded to my post and ask if anyone like to meet up next Thurs (24 Apr).... we'll all wait and see if there's any taker.

Ok, if anyone else is up for this Thurs 17th p.m. how about Peak Cafe/Bar - half way up mid-levels, they do all sorts of drinks/coffees/snacks/meals etc..nice relaxed place, great for chatting!
Maybe about 4pm? or later if chores/family to be looked after first? I can get there anytime after 2pm.

I'm also happy to join in next Thurs 24th too

On a point of pedantry (that being what I am here for) the Peak Cafe/Bar is not in the mid-levels at all, it is in SoHo. The mid-levels are the area from Caine Road south (uphill) to Conduit Road. Caine down to Hollywood is SoHo (South of Hollywood), below Hollywood is NoHo.

I'm Australian and we have been living in Beijing and Tokyo for the last 4 years. We have 2 daughters, 2.5years and 4mths.

Is this group primarily just for the ladies or do you have kids too? Don't want to wear out the welcome bringing kids along if its adults-only ;-)

Can I also ask any of you what areas you live and what you like most/dislike most about your area?

Mumto2 - Hi welcome - feel free to bring the children whenever you want. Just by coincidence at the moment not many of us have chidren so there will be plenty of spare hands to help you out. This may well change soon anyway with so many new people joining the group. I know there will be at least one more baby in June (mine is due then !!).

Tibi - about 5 of us are meeting up tomorrow - Tuesday in Happy Valley at 11am - pacific coffee -sing woo rd. You're more than welcome to join us if you're free.

I think some of the other guts may also be meeting on Thursday - just keep a look out on the forum.

Otherwise we are all hoping to meet up next week for lunch. Probably on Thursday but keep an eye on the forum.
