Hello ladies,

I'm an australian who will be relocating to Hong Kong in July (fingers crossed!). Hubby and I are currently expats in Kuala Lumpur, and sadly, have not entered the expat scene here. Not a mistake we'll be repeating in HK.

Once settled in Hong Kong I look forward to making some friends with other expat wives, plus, it's a darn good excuse to drink coffee and eat cake!

A little about us - I'm ex-Melbourne, hubby is ex-Sydney. Husband works in the financial services industry, I'm ex-finance, now trying to find a way to fill in the many hours in my day. No children, one husband is enough for me! I love to cook, any willing taste-testers are very welcome. Just be warned, I take no responsibility for calories consumed!

Have the ladies on here ever organised a dinner party? I'd love the opportunity to cook for a crowd.

I look forward to meeting you all. I'll be back once settled.

I arrived 3 days ago and would love to meet you all. I hope you will not mind if I turn up on Wednesday. I believe it is happening at 2:30pm in Mix: Stand on Queens road facing the bank - on the left hand side (still on queens road side) is a small shopping arcade - Mix is right there on the corner.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

Hi the meetup on Wednesday is 11.30am not 2.30 pm sorry that was previous post.

Shall we keep it easy and meet in Mix again as everyone knows where is is anmd it has comfy sofas which are good for me right now - we'll come up with some other good meet places for next time.

If you haven't been before it is on Queens road central - Stand on Queens road facing the bank - on the left hand side (still on queens road side) is a small shopping arcade - Mix is right there on the corner.

I may be late myself I've got a doctors appointment at 10am but sometimes she is held up so can run over. Also am kinda hoping will miss it all together and will have got this baby out by then - (note to self - must pack bag tonight !!!).
