Who Watched the Matrix??

and didja like it??

gawd what a bundle. I mean the concept has always been goodanall, but the storyline was ewwwwww, not to mention the acting and the unending fight sequences and gazzilion clones all coming out of the woodwork. I mean if you haven't seen it perhaps you'll enjoy it now that I've lowered your expections...

and to add insult to injury they have "to be continued" on the end... hahahahahaha

GOSH that rant felt good.

lunch now, cheers

PS: I'm really really sorry if you were planning to see it and I've given it all away. Trully.

Looks like I saved my self $60. Most of the reviews I saw were negative except from the die-hard fan sites. Loved the first one, what a shame this one is crap after so many years in production.

The Animatrix series series of animated shorts is pretty good though. you can download some episodes from The Animatrix site.

I hear that episode 3 may be pretty good

Glad you saved 60 bucks Kevin I bought my tickets online. Thank god it was Tuesday.

Has anyone seen X-men2?

Hey Shri, how do I get emoticons onto my message text?

cheers

Thanks Abhi.

XMen 1 was pretty cool.

I really liked Two Towers. I didnt think a movie could come close to capturing a book, but they didnt do a half bad job with LOTRs. And in Two Towers Gollum pretty much stole the show. Very cool.

I saw a 4foot statue of Gollum last month in Pacific Place (the music shop, forgot what its called). It had a face mask...

Cheers all
debbie

Loved the Two Towers, it was a pity that Andy Serkis who plays Golum didn't get nominated for any awards.

There was a movement to get him nominate for Best Supporting Actor at this years Oscars. As Wired wrote " If an actor can alter his face with makeup and still get nominated for awards, why can't someone who alters his appearance with digital pixels? "

First Day First Show [almost]

After dining at the newly opened Habibi Express, I was persuaded to go along to an afternoon show of M R.
After waiting for over an hour for the thing to move into 5th gear realised that this was not going anywhere near the 1st one. Started dreaming of babaganoush. Best part has to be the Merovigian and his good wife Persephone [WoW]
Silvercord only charges $45, so that left me some change to sample Habibi yet again.
