3 year china multiple entry visa

Does anyone have experience getting 3 years multiple entry? I'm currently on my 2nd 1 year multi and expiring soon.

I have
(1) HKID expiring next year
(2) Malaysian Passport
(3) using 1 year multi tourist for the last 2 years

The last time I went to the Visa office in Wan Chai because my old passport has ran out of pages to get another visa, I almost killed the woman behind the counter because she said the most I'm eligible for is 3 entry 6 months visa while I'm already holding a 1 year multi. At least she made me realise my old visa on the used up passport is still valid.

Anyway, if you have experience on 3 year multi, Please drop me a note. Thanks

Yes. Only HK Permanent ID can get this length of visa.

You have to apply in your own country of residence if you don't have that. Maximum though the system here ( for ordinary HKID ) appears up to one year and that can be reduced to 6 months if your not polite !

Things to bring for a 3 year multiplies to China

From personal experiences, I'm pretty sure you can apply for a 3 year multiple entries visa to China if you have all of the following:

(1) A valid HK Permanet ID card
(2) A valid passport (from any country)

Upon application, need to bring along:

(3) 1 x passport size photo
(4) business card (I know this may sounds weird to you but I was asked, and lucky I had one handy with me at the time)
(5) HKD for the payment

Good luck!
