So, who's up for a few drinks at the HK Brew House in Lan Kwai Fong.

Could be... does the name imply that they actually have real beers? (even brewed on-site?)

Their beers are not brewed onsite, but they do have a line of beers brewed in Aberdeen (Hong Kong.. not scotland). Also have a large collection of imports and from what I've heard, real ale.

So far we've got about 4 or 5 people .. a normal quiet geoexpat happy hour.

If it has real ale pulled by hand from the cask, not electric pumped then I'm definitely there...

No hand-pulled cask-conditioned real ale at that joint.

I did however see advertising for " London Pride" on some of the tables, which might mean that they have the bottled variety, but I'm not sure.

But they have a good (but not excellent) collection of bottled Belgian brews. Chimay, Verboten Vrucht etc. If you like that stuff, you can spend many happy hours there.

Rumour has it that Mine Host of HK Brew House is opening two [count them 2] establishments in Cyberbay so that our Shri doesn't get bored.

Pity I was not able quaff a stein or three with you lot but dooty called. But fikar not this year still has a few happy hours left
