Does anyone know of anyone/ anyplace that will manufacture my own bag designs? I don't mind travelling across the border into shenzhen even. thanks!

There's a leather and fashion accessories trade fair from march 31-April 2 at the Convention and Exhibition center.

Introduction, Fair, FA

Hundreds of manufacturers there. There's also a bag design contest... but the submission deadline was Feb 14.

Thanks for all your suggestions so far! I do appreciate it However these places seem to only cater for mass production. I'm in search of smaller manufacturers that would run probably 50 copies or so. Would anyone have any idea?

The less amount they make the more it costs. Just like when we make 1 or 2 samples of Handbags it costs around US$80 each.

What kind of materials would you be using to make your own design bags.

you are best to buy a sewing machine and hire your own sample maker. there are no garage operations in china that will have english speaking personal. anyone you can communicate with will expect MOQ of 300-500 pieces. you might get them to make you 1 or 2 samples for 10 times FOB cost if you lie and say you have a container order pending.
