Hi folks,

Anybody out there enjoys listening to indie bands? I moved to HK since 06 from Vancouver and I've found that the concert scene in HK sucks indeed. So hard to find any concert/music buddies. I totally missed the concert days in Van.... so who are your favouriate bands/musicians?

My favouriates are: Franz Ferdinand, Arcade Fire, Belle & Sebastian, Metric, the Pipettes, Mew, Cat Power, and of course Blur, Pulp, Radiohead, Visage, Blondie, Duran2

The music scene here is quite feeble. The best local band I've seen here is playing this saturday at the lamma ferry, on pier #4 in central. DP might be a bit heavier than your favorite bands that you posted, but they tore it up at the cyberport festival a few weeks ago, and remind me of the band Grady. Just youtube Grady + band to get an idea.

You can do what we do, organize business trips to fit with concerts in Japan, Australia etc!
