| Best place to buy Canadian dollars Hi, I have always suspected that buying foreign cash at the airport must be the most expensive. Any recommendations where the best place is to get our Canadian holiday cash - we are buying in HKD. Thanks so much |

| Your best bet is to actually go to a bank. Usually they have the best rates, and they don't charge you too much for a service fee if you have an account with their bank. Or at least that's what I've found so far....anyone else know? |

| Yep. Walk into a larger branch of whatever bank you're with. Usually get the best rates there. The smaller branches might not have Canadian dollar (I could be wrong in my assumption that smaller usually stocked with USD, GBP and EUR and might not have sufficient Canadian $)

| Whenever I've checked I have always found that the cheapest way is to withdraw cash from an ATM on arrival wherever I'm going. Slightly risky if going somewhere where the ATM network can be flaky, but in Canada I'm sure it will be fine, so I would just pull cash at the airport when I get there. |
