Not got it yet as didn't have time but the 922sh is stunning and much cheaper than the sx model which smartone are selling.

So 3 in HK are still not leaking any information about the iPhone 3g and its pricing etc.
It seems across the board that Apple are ensuring networks keep the contract price at 8gb - $199 and 16gb - $299, receptively.
However in the UK 02 will be selling the iPhone PAYG (Contract free) and the prices are yet to be announced.

Vodafone Italia has just announced that to get the iPhone 3G without a contract will cost €499 for the 8GB and €569 for the 16GB models.
That's approximately £395 and £450 in pounds which matches up with the UK retail for the previous iPhone v.1
If the same applies to the states then we could be looking at a price of $399 & $499, which was the price of the v.1 there.

Big difference from Europe to the states but thats always the case because of Taxes etc.

I'm pretty sure 3 Hong Kong won't do a PAYG version and will try and tie people to 2 year contracts here. So we'll get a large influx of imported PAYG models from abroad - But then we need to wait for the people who sit in their bedrooms cracking the iPhones to create a unlocking solution.

Supposedly the price of the old iPhone is increasing because of the lack of supply and the people who are scarce that the 3g iPhone wont be unlockable for a long while - There was even rumors that it would have a built in sim (NOT ACTUALLY TRUE!)

Does anyone know how good 3 HK's data plans are like? seems the UK & US are have unlimited data and the UK even has Laptop tethering
