Hey, I'm going to hong kong in 2 weeks and I am interested in picking up an iphone while i'm there.

Do you mind telling me how much you picked it up for?? and is there much variations in prices from shop to shop.

Planning to pick up my iPhone too next week. A quick question for you: I've never really bought stuff from Sin Tat, but from the looks of it, they are a reliable supplier.

Any particular person I should look for when I go there?

Also, I've known Chungking - Mirador (T.S.T) area to be flooded with export-oriented mobile phone shops. Do you have any idea comparison pricing from there?

They're much of a muchness to be honest in Sin Tat say if theres 4 shops selling Iphones and the price is exactly the same in all 4 then it usually means that they're owned by the same people but under different shop names.

Ummm avoid Chungking with a passion, A lot more risky and less comeback if theres something wrong with it, Chungking is only good for money exchange and curries in my opinion.

I couldn't say I saw any there when I was in Chungking on Wednesday, they seem to sell old HK mobiles in bulk to the Nigerians. And didn't spot anything newer than a year old.

On a sidenote... It seems that Apple is highly restricting apps development for the iPhone (engadget.com reported it last night)

Any opinions on whether it's still worth buying it?? Or should I just wait it out for the official version?
