With the Edison Chen scandal being all over Hong Kong at this moment I thought I would start a topic and poll.

The sex scandal involving pictures on the Internet with Edison Chen and various other female Hong Kong celebrities, to you is this controversy a shameful thing? How do you feel about this event. Express your views on this event, Internet pornography, other similar scandals, etc.

What two consenting adults get up to in private is their own business. I suspect most people have taken at least a few "naughty" photos of a partner at some time or other, and there's nothing wrong with that. There's no suggestion (as far as I am aware) that the women involved were unaware that the photos were being taken.

But Edison Chen has to win the prize for stupidity in leaving unencrypted copies on the hard disk of a computer he was taking in for repair.

And Cecilia could do with a bit of a trim.

well, I've kinda heard about it but didn't know the details (I know squat about HK pop stars) until my girlfriend, who is a local, told me yesterday. Apparently, one of the girls involved was recently married and has a kid or something... kinda feel bad for her... not sure if the incident happened before her marriage or not.

That said... they're pop stars with money to throw around. They can do whatever they want... but getting caught like that is just stupidity. It's not anything "bad" until they got caught right?

Pre-marital sex?
Making photos of yourself having sex?
Being so incredibly stupid as to leave copies unencrypted when taking a PC in for repair?
The repair technician taking copies?
Or publishing them online?

Actually, I don't think they did shameful thing. We cannot interfere what they did during that privacy times. But I just wanna say they should not take or be willing take that photo as they are all celebrities. So now, they deserved the fate what they did. so all the peoples who involved should take the responsibilities, not only one party. The only thing i feel shameful is Edison have that hobby - take photo when he enjoy his sex.Lol
