Hi, I'll be moving to HK really soon and would like to get a head start on looking for places to live in HK island. Office will be Kowloon, but I've checked and there are buses going fr the island to Kowloon, so shouldn't be a problem.
Kennedy Town looks good. Aside from the Merton, what are other good apartments, preferrably a 2-BR? Budget is 12k. I hope the place isn't too old, and area and mgt are okay... Oh, one big plus would be a tub in the bathroom
Other options are Central, Central/Western Midlevels, Sheung Wan, Sai Ying Pun (though I've read that a lot of the buildings here are older compared to those in KT?)
I know that there are a lot of agents in HK, but it would be great if you can share some of those that you contacted too. (So I'd know that they give good deals
)
