I would like to hire a 1-1 cantonese tutor for my 7 year old to improve his cantonese and hopefully encourage him to love to learn the language.

I don't know if this will help but I was taught Cantonese on a short course by someone from Yi Fan Mandarin and the teacher we had - Catherine Ma - who was teaching us Cantonese came from Yuen Long.
She was a really lively and enthusiastic teacher and I was really impressed!
It's just a start and her business card may be a bit old but the details she gave me are as follows:
