Does anybody know of a good child/family doctor on Lantau? Preferably one who is used to dealing with expats and is open-minded towards natural remedies, etc. Public or private is fine but would prefer a good public one, visiting or clinic, in Tung Chung, DB, Mui Wo, or south Lantau. We've just had our first baby and need some good care!

Do you want one in DB or TC or Mui Wo? I only know the one at Mui Wo -Dr Kwok -cheap local ,good English - but not really' hands on 'has some interesting theories but ...well .local drs, its a different scene. Antibiotics are king here but he isn't as free with them as some who barely lookup at you as they hand you the script.Otherwise an expat dr is your best bet - but you pay bigtime! you may have to go to Central. Brian Walker is good value.

We use Dr.James Oliver at Island Clinic, DB.
He's an english guy and deals with lots of babies here in DB. Might be a bit pricey but worth a go.
