can anyone recommend a good remote control for a PC (that isn't running media center)?

Preferably easy to use and have some sort of media center skin.

I have tried Soundgraph iMon - good but OTT and the media skin isn't great.

M$'s offering appears to require Media Center installed.

Anyone successfully used anything else? The requirement is to be able to select music and videos on screen and to play, add to playlist, adjust volume etc.
