Wang Fat Path Yuen Long has a heap of Indian, Halal, Indonesian and Nepalese grocery stores, as it services those communities living nearby, and the Gweilo's who have a bit of craving for authentic home cooked curries.

We live in Siu Lam which is about middle distance between where you are in Park island, about 15 minutes mini bus ride from here, so most likely about 25 to 30 minutes from where you are.

The other popular location to get Indian, Africaan and Middle Eastern groceries, is Chung King Mansions in Nathan Road, located in the block before you hit the Sheraton Towers Hotel side/end of TST.

You'll find what you are looking for in both locations.

The "P" must be Patak's of UK. ParknShop stocks some Patak's stuff in some of their larger stores. Or try the Wellcomes near the gweilo enclaves and the more exotic supermarkets (Great, City Super).

The things you listed - besides papadams (or "papad" as it's more ofen called in the Subcontinent) - would more likely be found in stores catering to gweilos rather than the "real" Indian (or Pak) grocery stores of the kind in CKM/TST, Wanchai and Temple St areas catering to the Indian community. That's because manufactured biryani and so-called curry pastes aren't fancied much by Indians (unless the biryani paste is ITC brand from back home - which is more "complex" and sometimes carried by the odd Indian/Pak grocer in HK).
