Hi, we're planning to move to DB with our two children aged 3 and 4.

Our budget is 10K a month maximum, can we find something in DB for this price? Any real estate agency recommendations and advice about nice areas to look for housing within this budget would be very wellcome!

Also, would love to hear your comments on daily life in DB!

10K can definitely get you a 2 bedroom place of decent size.

I would guess you could get something up to about 650, depending on your standards. Try to look at the older buildings, because the prices in newer places like Siena or Chianti are inflated.

We were happy with Century 21 (2nd floor of DB Plaza, next to Wing On), but I think that most agencies are of good standard out in DB.

Thanks! I have seen a few houses yesterday with Kaman and Century 21, and most were quite reasonable.

Have a look at the "Greens" - very good value for money and with a bit of luck you might get a decent sized 3-bedroom flat. Check your messages, I sent you a pm.

Great point... I'd forgotten about that!

Most of the Greens I saw were due for an interior renovation, but the size is quite good.

squarefoot.com.hk is not bad. They have a section specifically on 'under 15K, DB."

Of course, you will often find good listings right here, as well!
