HD-DVD rentals

Hi,

I posted this earlier, but I believe it got deleted due to technical problems this afternoon.

Does anyone know of a place where I can rent hd-dvds. Or for that matter blu-ray discs as well?

I'm thinking about getting an hd-dvd drive for my xbox360 and I'd to know if I'd be able to rent the discs rather than buy them.

Thanks

You are aware that HD-DVD has essentially lost the war to Blu-ray, so buying an HD-DVD player now would seem an, er, interesting decision.

But the 360's hd-dvd player is quite cheap. And now that things look like they are going blu-ray's way hd-dvd might just slash their prices even more in a last ditch attempt to get more hd-dvd players into homes.

I know though, blu-ray will probably win. I might get a ps3 later in the year and as that has blu-ray built in I'd also be interested in renting blu-ray discs as well. Anyone know of a place which rents out either hd-dvd or blu-ray discs?

I've seen Blu-Rays in MovieBox on the escalator and a few other stores. Not a large enough collection yet available on rent to justify buying a new player in my opinion.

Cheers for that, William06.

Looks promising.

When I lived in the UK I joined the Guardian's dvd rent by post service (forgot the real name for it) and was pretty impressed.
