I was in Discovery Bay today watching a pretty big brush fire on one of the mountains there being fought by a couple of helicopters. Tonight if you look over there, it looks kind of like a volcano. It's pretty spooky looking.

The fires are pretty regular ... dry winters, dumb campers and .... ooops!

I can see it from my balcony HK Side looks pretty fierce!
