| | | I have to say that Pyrat rum (from the same people that do those fancy tequilas whose name temporarily escapes me) was a revelation to me. A seriously good sipping spirit (like a malt whisky or a good Armagnac). Not cheap (about HK90 a glass at my local) but several leagues above any rum I have ever tasted before. | |

Pyrat is bottled by Patron Spirits. Sounds pretty good. I'd like some Appleton Estate too, or maybe some real deal Puerto Rican Bacardi.

| | | OK...now I REALLY want some rum. Where do I buy these babies in Hong Kong?
I've looked at the usual suspects (Citysuper, etc.) but the selection is pretty meagre.

UP SPIRITS !!!! | Ah yes, the naval strength stuff! I remember the morning but not the night before sir! Depending on the manner of consumption I'm a Havana Club or Pussers drinker but there are times when Calamansi and Tanduay do the job, as does Old Monk Rum and Coke!
