| Hello, My boyfriend of five years has accepted a job in Hong Kong, (we are both currrently living in London). My question is re a dependant working visa, as I would like to be able to work in HK. But, does dependant mean married? Thanks in advance, Fay |

| it would seem section 39 would apply to your question..so yes, you would have to be married The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region - Immigration Department |

| doesn't matter to HK immig how long you have been together or even if you have kids together, unless you are married, you cannot be a dependent. sorry. |
