| Moving to HK Without a Visa My boyfriend is being transferred from the Uk to HK with his work. I am going with him but I do not have a job yet. As a UK resident I can stay in HK for up 180 days without a visa. If I still haven't found a job with a company willing to sponsor me, can I go to Macau for the weekend and then return for another 180 days? Also, will I have any problems arriving in HK on a one way ticket with no visa? |

Also, you should know that it's technically illegal for you to search for a job while here on a tourist visa (not that many don't do that, but you should be aware that it's not legal and probably not a good conversation topic to strike up with an immigration officer). Getting married and applying for a dependent visa (which allows you to work) is another option. Good Luck. |
