Hi there,

As I understand it a transfer of sponsorship is like the original application, and they take into consideration how long you have been in your current position.

Does anyone know any recent examples where a change of sponsorship was refused?

I have been in my current position for 1.5 years in Hong Kong. I'm not sure if this qualifies as long enough according to the immigration department.

It's a professional position, not easy to find the skills in the market.

Appreciate any pointers.

In 8.5 years here I haven't heard of a refused transfer of sponsorship - I reckon you're pretty safe.
