just back from Cheung Fung Kok, and it deserves to be mentioned here
The name means Pine Wind House, and it is just down the road from the Silver Mine Bay Hotel in Mui Wo.
Alfresco is the way to go here, and with the beach on one side and the fragrant South China Pines on the other who could ask for anything more. But there is in the form of a brilliant canopy of stars, and mine host Alex who does a stellar job tending to his flock.
Beer is strictly bottles and cans of the usual type, and food is DIY on the barbeque pit. But with a newly opened Turkish restaurant nearby, real pub grub was at hand.
Definetly needing a Geoexpat expedition, for further exploration

Hmmm... 7pm is a bit late for me - my meeting in Hung Hom will probably finish around 5 or 5-30 latest. I'm not sure what I can think of to do to kill and hour and a half in foreign territory

Anyone likely to get there earlier (say 6pm)?
