Apple products in HK

hi,

does anyone know if apple products (iPods as well as computers) are "price protected", meaning they cost the same no matter the store/dealer? i am needing to get a new iPod and possibly an iMac, and wonder if I need to comparison shop?

also, how do the HK prices compare to the US?

thanks so much in advance for advice/suggestions.

When I priced a Macbook it was the same everywhere. A few dollars cheaper here than US. (at that time). Check online promotions though, sometimes they have a better deal than in-store.
