I am wanting to book a train ticket in advance from Guangzhou to Sanya but without speaking or reading Chinese this is proving to be difficult.
If anyone knows of any websites or phone numbers where I can book train tickets in English that would be fantastic.

On the China side you can book ticket ex Gangzhou at Shenzhen station. Expect only a one way journey and booking occurs normally 3 days before departure. So - you have to repeat for the return journey.

To get over the language issue, have a friend write a note and hand it over the counter.

China Travel Service can also do but in my experience you have to give loads of notice. Maybe they can fix a return ticket but don't hold your breath waiting.
