Job sticky?

Cant we just put a sticky where we state basic facts such as:

1. if you have no education you wont get 20K+ a 3000sqf apartment just because you are a foreigner.

2. If you don't speak/read/write Chinese (canto/mandarin) you wont get a job as an actor/model/TV host and what not.

3. That you can't (legally) get a job/internship/freelance/voluntary job without a sponsor/work visa, and it's like that in most countries (probably your own as well) not just HK.

4. Fresh grads wont have much of a chance to get a job here.

feel free to add to this list :P

And on a personal note to aspiring designers,
Your 1-6month internship at whatever agency overseas will not impress any serious agency here so don't request 20-30K+ as your starting salary after showing of you "amazing" glow filter skills.
Had to add that after reading through about 100 "glowing" applications from various overseas countries.

Isnt there a glow filter in photoshop??

In all seriousness, the jobs section (forum / postings) are being redone... ready in a day or two.

Adding to 2) If you don't speak/read/write Chinese (canto/mandarin) you wont get an interview for a job from 99% of local HR. Even you have every qualification. Years of experience and great recommends.

2a) If you think your a star then registering at a head hunter for elusive IB positions not requiring shut out as above, will result in, " if we don't already know about you - doing a 180 and walking is your best strategy"
