Anyone know whether there is any Buddhist community in Hong Kong?

I'd love to join one.

Also pls let me know if there is a place where you can sign up for volunteer work to help the needy in HK during your free time.

For Buddhism, you might contact the HK Buddhist Association: 1/F, 338 Lockhart Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong
Tel : 2574 9371
There are so many Buddhist organizations so I suspect this is a good place to start.
If you don't speak Cantonese, your choices will probably be limited, but heck you only need one! Oh, there is a Buddhist book store somewhere in Central but am afraid I don't know anymore than that.

Hi Vcorn,

I am the member of the following buddhist organization:
Soka Gakkai International Official Website: Home

There are many English speaking members and you can call their centre in Prince Edward (kowloon side) to find out more.

And, I also attended few classes at the following centre:

Buddhist Lodge of Laity

My Amercian friend used to go a buddhist centre in Wanchai and I can find out for you if you want to know more.

Cheers!
Rachel

Er, I think maybe you ought to read up a bit on Buddhism. It isn't a theistic religion and the concept of "praying" really doesn't apply at all since there isn't a god to pray to.
