Folks, We have a couple of important things to share with you, following discussions we've had with dozens of members.

Revenue Model and Censorship: GeoExpat.Com has extremely low overheads, which allows us to operate without a "revenue model". It serves as a vehicle for our online ventures like Shop.GeoBaby.Comp. We will in exceptional cases, promote products and services of companies that partner with us -- if and when the opportunity arises.

Our vision for building this site was to build a content and resource website for expats -- which in turn would allow us to build and promote our own online ventures.

On the censorship side of things.. there are two things that I will not tolerate -- vulgarity and racism. If you choose to behave differently on the site than you would in public, you have no reason to complain if I delete your content from the site.

Needless to say, things continue to evolve and change and this site is more capable of evolving and changing quickly, than any other expat site in town.
