Interesting and down-to-earth people in HK?

Hi All,

I just moved to HK about 2 months ago and have found it really difficult to adjust--are there any interesting and down-to-earth people out there who care about other things than being skinny and looking good? I am an ABC female in my 20's living on HK island--give me a shout if you are ever up for a drink or a chat!

haha...LMT,
Merry Christmas,

indeed, I sometimes do jogging at Victoria Park in early morning,
to my surprise, I never see any local young lady exercise there, neither do I see mens doing it. I only see alot of mid-age people and expats who exercise alot.

yes, it is a habit that majority of young people want to lose weight without giving the effort to exercise.

I am a man, so I don't know if young ladies talk about weight losing alot of time???
but I am sure there are many special activity groups that you can find to meet new friends of same interests.

ive been couple of times to HkG and i always stay for a long period of time...yes, it is hard to adjust and start a good conversation with female, but i never had any difficulty in dealing with guys coz they are more approachable, funny and very smart.. good thing the people i meet are those who are fluent in english otherwise, my mandarin is not that good, i will surely have a hard time, i wanna learn their cantonese language but having hard time w/ the twang..

Sometimes when look around in the MTR or on the street I wonder how most of the girls are able to walk with those skinny legs. Do they eat at all?

Sometimes you just got to start one. You'll be surprised how many like minded people you'll find on here.
