HI guys,

Im gonna move to SZ i have about 9 luggages and I ask local company (here in HK) for quotation...they are asking me 9000HK$ ...I said to them thats the price to send things to Europe but keep telling me thats the customs clearances taxes to pay which make all such expansive...

do you have any suggestion or help?

I have plenty Original CD and music instruments to bring to my new house...is such difficult?
they also told me which I may have problem to carry those things by hand ....is that true?

where can i get some infos?

Well, I hauled mine down by myself when I moved from DG to HK. It was really painful but it cost me next to nothing. What I did was every few days/week I would make a trip and haul 1-2 suitcase.

My guess would be the China customs is a pain (coz they want to make $) thus the charge. Try a few more moving companys and see if its the same

But if you haul it yourself via Lowu or HG, they normally won't bother you unless you look like a local Chinese trying to smuggle something through

the problem is that my house will be available in SZ after 20 and I have to leave house in HK on 25... (january)

5 days is not enough to do all

before i did the same as you from GZ to HK...

Well you could offer something like "Free Beers in SZ" since beer is so cheap up there and see how many people will take it and make them help haul your stuff over there as well

try asking HKDC. Hong Kong Delivery Company. they will solve all problems for you. but pls do a search around cos I am fairly new myself
