Is Mozilla the best browser???

Hi guys,
Can anyone tell me what is the main deference between IE and Mozilla Firefox ? I have been using IE (version 6.0) for one year but from now on I have decided to use Firefox. I just want to know as to what Mozilla can do which Internet Explorer can not.
Thanks!

There are many, but for me one of the most useful is the fact that open programming interfaces mean that there are so many useful extensions available: anything from a Croat spell-checker to a flash blocker (particularly useful for Geoexpat).

As a non geek all I can say is after trying and hating version 1 I adore version 2.
In fact I hate having to use IE 6 for sites that don't support Firefox.

Try it and you will never willingly return to the dark side !

Only issues with Firefox is that it can be a memory hog, although Mozilla have gone back to basics with version 3 making it a slicker and more secure browser without losing functionality. Version 3 is only available as a Beta but should be released sometime early next year.

I use Firefox as my default browser, only using IE or Opera for testing purposes or occasionally, as mentioned, on site that do not support Firefox.

I switched from FF to Opera, due to the rubbish flashplayer, and the memory related leaks.
I like FF but those things need to be fixed first.
I hate IE with their crap CSS support, always having to CSS hacks to get a page to work properly etc.
IE could be good if they just learned to follow the standards instead of making up their own shit like filters etc and breaking the standards.
And the new IE 7 is hardly an improvement, some how MS never seem to have any talented staff when it comes to usability

This article will mean little to the geeks that comment on whether A or B browser is better. For us mortals, if it works for you then thats enough.

Exclamation Evading "The Dark Side"

I use Firefox with Adblock Pro so as to advoid (spelling joke) all the crap adverts that a certain bar-steward Xpat site in Central chunders all over its users..... and very effective is AdBlock Pro too.

Here I use I.E. 6 with "Foxie" installed.

I also have Opera installed too - but seldom have to fire it up.

I use Firefox/2.0.0.11 and have used Mozilla for over two years. I like its ease of use, and since IE redesigned, I would not change. I don't use too many extensions or options, but there several I do like. I have never used Opera (?) since I heard it has some security problems. And I never Google since I found they collect personal data. So which is best for me: Mozilla/Firefox.
