I have been checking between Canon and Nikon. At the end, I have decided to buy Nikon D80, think it is better than Canon EOS 400D. Canon EOS40D is good, but too expensive for me. Anyway of you can suggest where to buy the cheapest Nikon D80?

I have checked it in CWB, it cost me HKD8260 for kit set. Can I can a cheaper price in some where else? Mongkok? or?????

Of course you can go to Sai Yeung Choi St and shop around, see if you can get a CF card thrown in etc.

Thanks. That's a good idea to shop at Sai Yeung Choi St to try my luck this weekend. If I can get cheaper than HKD8260, that's my luck.

The cheapest one I got, and I shopped around a lot, was from Coxell Cam2, the yellow shop at the corner, in Sham Shui Po Computer Center.

I can't remember the price but it was much lower than anywhere else I went, including those two shops. They have great customer care too. If there's any problem, they will exchange.

There is a Coxell shop in Mongkok too. Do you think the price should be the same like in Sham Shui Po?

I don't know that shop. I've been to the one in Wanchai, where they are not as nice and you can't negociate as much as in SSP.

not sure if this is an issue for you but shops like Tin Cheung and Coxell usually don't sell camera's or lenses with warranty from Nikon HK. (grey market goods).

If there is only 100 different, I will rather to get the original kit set, at least I can have the warranty. If there is 1000 different, I won't mind to get kinda grey market goods.

Just an update here. I just bought the Nikon D80 Kit Set for HKD8100 from Citicall in Mongkok. The retail price is HKD8260 but manage to bargain till HKD8100. There are few free gift too, worth than gray market goods.

I am happy with my new camera now. Anyone interested in photography? I am looking for buddy now.
