I'm heading to Japan for two months after my on month stay in Hong Kong. Does anyone know of any meet ups or language exchange groups in Hong Kong ? I'm from Canada and I've met lots of Japanese working holiday makers and also Toronto locals wanting to learn Japanese while in Canada.

My current level would pass a JLPT4 for sure and maybe a JLPT3. If there are any Japanese expats here, maybe we work out a language exchange. I'm a native speaker of English, I'm fluent in Cantonese , conversational in Mandarin and somewhat conversational in Japanese. I'm also willing to meet anyone who is learning the language themselves - maybe we can work something out !

i used to study japanese but that was a good 3 or 4 years ago. i know there are quite a few japanese in hk, but there wasn;t a japanese meet a few years ago in hk. i may be visiting hk from the end of jan for a few days and then off to tokyo for about 10 and then back to hk for a few more days.
