I have heard several orgins, but I like to think it has got to do with what Aussies say, when the Brits start to talk about how good their cricket/rugby teams is...

Yeah - the English soccer team is pretty good too and let's not forget the dominance of British tennis.

Kevin Bloody Wilson - Living Next Door to Allan (with reference to Allan Bond).

"24 kids 9 adults and 15 dogs
a dead roo on the roof rack
and a boot load full of grog
i am flash as michael jackson
now i am living next door to allan"

A very old song. I really don't think we should go through all of Kevin Bloody Wilson's song list. Living Next Door to Allan is probably the cleanest of the lot.

Ha Ha I dropped my coffee then, that was mega funny.

Seeing things turned humourous, have a good laugh at this..

Moving right along.

John Farnham is always excellent value live, seen him play on quiet a few occasions over the years, the complete showman. I heard him sing with Tom Jones once, and Tom really got upstaged by John. Maybe Tom had an off night that night .

Another excellent live act, The Whitlams.

Oh dear. This thread just lost all credability... John Farnham?!?! Lets leave him out of this - along with Kylie, etc.

What about good old Aussie pub rock.....
Try YouTubing:
The Radiators (Gimme Head is a classic - a version was just put on YouTube a month or so ago)
The Angels (anything from them)
AC/DC (anything from them, Bon Scott or Brian Johnson - they both do the job)
