Kids,piano lessons and keyboards??

Who has a kid who said
" i want to learn piano" I do and where do I start? she is 10, we ahve small flat.......no piano.....can someone ahead in the parenting thing advise me what route to take with it all??????? Ta

take her along to lessons at one of the many music shops all over HK. If she likes it after a few months you could always invest in a smaller and "cheaper" (the term is relative) electronic piano - the type that have a piano hammer type action on the keys. You can get one for around HK$8000.

But definitely do the lesson at a shop before forking out for a piano/keyboard of her own.

places like Tom Lee and Parsons have plenty of practice rooms (all with pianos) and plenty of teachers available.

Other areas of instruction include Music composition and arrangement-song writing and digital music creation,
Ear training, Performance and Stage tips.


I am entertainer with over 9 years of performing experience. I am fluent in all of the areas listed above and am willing to share knowledge with anyone at any level of experience.
