I think meeting is a great idea. However, I do have one concern personally. It seems like most of the people responded are local. I mean nothing against it but I am just afraid it will be end up like talking mostly in Cantonese which obiviously is a language that I and some others dont speak.

Hello fellow Chinese of GeoExpat!

I do agree that there is the chance that many of us will start speaking in Cantonese...however, being a Chinese growing up in Canada, I've learned both (verbally at least) Cantonese and English. So if for some reason, we have the language barrier...I can always try to become a translator of sorts. :P

So when should we all meet? Coffee? Drinks? Movie? Shopping trip? or do touristy local trip?
