Best Buffets in Hong Kong With the Holiday Season upon us, Christmas and New Years, I would like to hear from anyone about buffets (all you can eat) in Hong Kong. Most seem to be associated with hotels, but some restaurants also offer buffets on occasion. Which buffet do you enjoy, and how was the food and service, and price? I hope to hear from many on where to eat this coming holiday.

the Harbour Front Hong Kong Hotel in Hung Hom is disapointing. The view (day time) is great but the food is just luke warm. Reasonable selection of shell fish. Average food all round. Approx $360

Thought I might add a place my wife an I visit: the Empire Hotel in Wan Chi. Costs about $150 per person, and includes beer and some house wines. Large choice, and the food is very good. Small dinning area, but very friendly staff. Give it a try after work some weekdays. I think it opens at 6 pm. Great for small parties and office get-together.

| For me the Cyberport Le Meredian buffet is good value ($150 or so for tenants during week days for lunch) Others that I've enjoyed include: Excelsior Peninsula Shangri-La Conrad (Not been to any of these this year .. so the suggestions could be wrong..)

there is also a reasonable Brazilian buffet in a block in East TST next to Chatham Rd South. Can't remember the name of the block but there is a McDonalds in there as well (on the 2nd floor). The brazilian is on the 3rd or 4th floor. $100 for as much as you can eat.
