I'll try to remember that. Please pardon my ignorance, but is there any particular reason why?

i suggest that you try emailing places or calling them up for a reservation now.

the new year fireworks is the first in hong kong because usually this is done over chinese new year. so im sure a lot of people would want to see the fireworks too and most places would be fully booked

Ah Yellow mboy if you have to ask then you are too young to know.
I will give you just one instance from the distant past which I feel can be told on a family site.

It would normally be funny that the Communist Party of China, representing the proleteriat and peasants, finds its best chance is to back the pro-cartel, pro-business Liberal Party, who's leader drives a Porsche and is a multi-millionaire. The SCMP reports poor James Tien mixed with the riff-raff on a public bus: The poor man had to schlepp from his office in Central out to Sha Tin to file his papers. He boarded the bus and was heard to say "This thing handles like sh!t. What kind of horsepower does this thing have? I could've been there and back in my office in half an hour. Who are all these other people here? What the hell does voter mean? Get these people away from me."

kombuchakid,

Thank you for enlightening me. In Asia however, situations like these occur way too often. All I can say is: Money Talks and BullSh!t Politicians walk.

Good chance we'll be doing a party on the 31st.

Will have something sorted out by the end of the week.

We've secured an area at the Heat Bar. $400 includes entrance (10PM to 6AM) to the party and 2 hours worth of drinks (10PM to Midnight)
