i suggest that you try emailing places or calling them up for a reservation now.

the new year fireworks is the first in hong kong because usually this is done over chinese new year. so im sure a lot of people would want to see the fireworks too and most places would be fully booked

I will give you just one instance from the distant past which I feel can be told on a family site.

He boarded the bus and was heard to say "This thing handles like sh!t. What kind of horsepower does this thing have? I could've been there and back in my office in half an hour. Who are all these other people here? What the hell does voter mean? Get these people away from me."
