For IT support? No, not really. Most people you would be dealing with will often have only very basic English, and many have only a similar level of Mandarin.

If you are successful with the Quality Migrant Application then that will help - you would have only a very small chance of getting sponsored for an employment visa, but with QMAS you wouldn't need that which might open a few opportunities for you.
