Just wondering if anyone can tell me approximately how long it would take to get to Tuen Mun from Tung Chung? Specifically, Lingnan University to the Tung Chung residential developments. Could you make the trip in under 45 minutes including waiting time?

I did investigate it once - I think it takes 15 minutes on the ferry and if it is anything like the rest of HKs transport it probably runs like clockwork so waiting would be minimal but the time taken getting to/from your final destination would be the determining factory.

We took the ferry from the Tuen Mun to Tung Chung recently to visit a friend of ours who lives in Discovery Bay.

If you arrive just before the ferry arrives, 45 minutes sounds about right all up.

The trip on the water, is about 10 - 15 minutes.
