Hi All.........!!!

I'm new to Hong Kong, arrived a few weeks ago from the uk. I'd love to meet some new friends here.

I love Salsa dancing, but need a partner, and I play the saxaphone, so will be looking for a band to join at some point. But would love to meet up with other expats or native hong kong people as would like to learn cantonese..!!!

You can check out the salsa events from HKsalsa.com. They list out all the salsa events during the week.

Btw, the salsa venue on Monday is called "Cixi" in Central. They have class around 9pm but it's for beginners. Coz it's Monday, it'll be pretty quiet in Cixi.

Sorry I've not responded sooner, but it's been a little hectic over the weekend.

I guess I've missed the salsa this monday, but may definitely check it out next week.

Melody....I also play piano and violin...!!!! Definitely a get together is in order. I'm up for next weekend...saturday is better as I work saturday morning..!!

That sounds like a great idea. I'm up for Friday..... I'm home around 7pm, but work saturdays...booo.!!! No drinks for me then, just plenty of dancing.

You can get off at Fortress Hill MTR station and Jupiter street is just 2 blocks from there.

Actually, Jupiter is not really like a dance pub coz it doesn't have that "atmosphere" but the floor is really nice and it's spacious. You won't get kicked on dance floor like in other pubs.

Fyi, there are lots of beginners/intermeidates there so if you're looking for some really good dancers, you might get a bit disappointed. :P
