| | | Hey Fatman,
If you are talking about harbourview horizon, it is located in Hung Hum (kowloon side by the water, near the KCR station)........and there's also a harbourfront horizon (right by the water), which is 5 min walk from the harbourview
and there's this Horizon Suites at Talo harbour (not sure the exact name they called), which is located in New Territories by Ma On Shan
so best to decide which area you want to be in before making the committment for 2 years (pretty long if you ask me), and i do not believe they allow you to sign up the contract for 2 years (max is 1 year i believe).......
i am a harbourfront resident btw.... | |

I am interested in the Habourfront Horizon.... Maybe u can advise me some details :-
1) What's the diff in price for both seaview or gardenview for a 700sqft 2 rooms apartment between 10th to 20th floor?
2) A normal lease period?

| | | hey, i will try to answer some of your q's i guess
1. Cant really give you a solid answer to this as the price might change depending on the avaliability of the suites, best to check with them, ball park is from $11500 to appox. $16000 (guesstimate)
2. Min of 6 months & Max of 1 year
3. Sure is, though i dont see a lot of kids running around, and there's no park / child facility other than the little area by the club house (which is completely useless for anyone whose working normal hours)....
hope this helps | |

| | | Hello Harbourfront Folks - I just recently signed up with GeoExpat and appreciate the forum particularly for Harbourfront issues. I will be moving to HK from NYC and currrently looking for a suitable place for me to live in while I work out of our HK office located in Central (Edinburgh Towers/Landmark). I was wondering since the dates of the thread reflect from 06 to 07, do you still have the same problems from then today (4/24/08)? Also are the higher floors available now? The website still state from HK$9,999 but I read that they are advertising in front of the site otherwise (HK$11,500). Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Also if you could share a reliable real estate agent for this property it surely would be appreciated.

| | | Actually, the company holds three serviced apartments which two are in Hung Hom Bay and one is in Ma On shan area (Horizon Suite Hotel). Harbourfront Horizon prices higher for a better location. I dont believe you can get any of the starting price, namely 11500, 9990 and 6800 as they advertised. My rental is 13500 for a 19 floor 700' apt with reasonable seaview and the price will go up to 16000 if the lease is renewed for next year. | |

| | | Hey everyone, is there anyone that would rent a room for either a short period of time (under 1 month), or would consider a roommate for a 6 month term? I would also be open to a month to month basis if someone would want to try giving it a chance at first. I am a 35 yo male professional consultant from the US looking for a place around August 7th. If there is anyone interested, please just PM me and let me know how much you would be willing to rent out the room for. Thanks! | |
