Hey for those of you that have internet at the Harborfront, does anyone know if you can use a VOIP phone with their internet service? I know that certain ports must be unblocked for it to work. If anyone knows the answer to this question, please let me know!

I am not sure the landline phone at the Harborfront, I can use landline phone to make or receive internet calls without a computer or boardband. U may check HomePhone+, it is by SmarTone/ Vodafone, new to HK this year.
I will PM you the sales who I contact for this service so you can check with them.

I have been reading this thread and am thinking of moving to Harbourfront Horizon.....Could someone tell me if:

1) the morning shuttle bus situation has improved ? How long do you actually have to wait ?

2) How long are the gyms/pool open to ?

3) How much the rentals now ?

15-17k. Minimum time you need to sign up for is 6 months.

I will be moving to HK for work early 2009 (targeted sometime in Feb latest). I have heard from the HarbourFront Horizon. Would like to more about living here since their website does not offer a whole lot of information. I would like to rent for about a year. Prices range from HKD10000 and upwards?

I live in HH for almost 2 years now and my experience is mixed:

pros:
new, ok prized, nice pool, bright rooms, close to the KCR, some fresh air, the view

cons:
the most inflexible, unhelpful house management I ever experienced.

As prises are dropping you might be able to get a proper deal, but as above, with this management generally not reacting on reasoning you never know.
