| My friend has sleep apnoea. The specialist supplied him with a special machine that supplies pressurised oxygen through a mask. It changed his life and maybe saved it. I would advise anyone who thinks they have this to get assistance through their local doctor and not a cheap fix it. Is your life, your friends or families life worth the risk? Diet and weight are the main causes of this and so you have to have a comprehensive cure. |

| I was referred to the following respiratory specialist: Dr. Roland Leung Room 803, Hong Kong Pacific Place 28 Hankow Road Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon Tel: 21919649 He organised a sleep test at the HK Sanitorium then prescribed an APAP machine (Possibly the same thing that Boris mentioned), the difference in sleep and life quality is huge since starting this therapy. I agree with Boris, these little anti-snore gadgets may work for mild cases of snoring but sleep apnea is a serious conditon that requires diagnosis and treatment by experts. |
