easy to get to ifc!

moving to hk and working at ifc
ifc, being far from the mtr station can be such a pain... anyone has any recommendations of apartments that provide shuttle bus service in the mornings?

currently looking at 500-1000' places at:
- casa bella (how close to escalator?)
- cherry crest (how much $$ cabride without traffic?)
- hollywood terrace
- princeton tower
- queen's terrace
- talon tower (bus access from connaught?)

any additional comments about these properties would be much appreciated!

What do you mean by "far" exactly??? IFC is connected to the Hong Kong station which is connected to Central station. The walk from the central station to IFC (underground) is at most 10 minutes...

My friend lives just off the escalator on Conduit Rd and it takes her an estimated 15 to 20 minutes to walk down the escalator to the IFC where she works.

The escalator runs down in the morning and up on the evening.

When she takes a cab it can take longer bc of the traffic and stop lights.

Agree with Climber the IFC is extremely accessible by MTR, minibuses and double decker buses.

lol was very spoilt over the summer... worked at exchange square, but stayed at 2 macdonnell road which had a free shuttle in the mornings

in any case, more intent on living on a new-ish building in sheung wan with investment value. if planning to go to work around 6:45, the cab ride should be very fast? can someone who lives in any of the buildings quote the fare?

again, any suggestions of property with shuttle service would be much appreciated!

- casa bella (how close to escalator?)

5 minutes walk to escalator

- cherry crest (how much $$ cabride without traffic?).

5 minutes walk to escalator too. Just through either Staunton Street or Hollywood Road. Very few cabs passing by. You need to call to reserve. May take 10 minutes to go to IFC without traffic. Building is 2 years old and environment is quiet and green. Over 70-80% expats.

- hollywood terrace

I lives here. Walking to IFC takes about 10 minutes. I walk quite fast though.

- princeton tower

No idea.

- queen's terrace

7 minutes walk down west queens road from Hollywodd Terrace.

- talon tower (bus access from connaught?)

No idea.
