Not crazy at all by GeoExpat standards. Just a wee bit misguided.

Let me know when this gets out of hand though ... (busy with issues of biblical proportions today..)
HOLY WAR on geoexpat between believers n non-believers.

Quick run for your lives.

It amazes me to see how people would go on and on to convince others of their faith. Seriously, this is something which shouldn't be discussed at all. Religion or the absence of it should stay in the privacy of your home. Please do not bring out your religion(or the lack of it) out. This is what has caused the most bloodshed this planet has ever seen.

I feel sorry for the New Age and Jehovas Witness groups who got 'nul points'.

I do agree though that religion should be left in the home or in the respective places of worship. Each to his own.

The older I get the more tolerant I become of other people's beliefs but the more comfortable I become with my own lack of religious belief having witnessed too much hypocrisy.

Golden Compass

Could anyone explain why Catholics are so pissed with the Golden Compass?
It hasn't even opened yet yet loads of snippets are everywhere.

http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1808718640/video/5305481

could it be a sly ploy to get some free publicity?

It's been good, and the joy of you saying you're right is that I believe my convictions are right, nothing has been accomplished either side for convincing anyone. This is okay, peoples voices have been heard (well I would have liked more faiths to speak more). I wonder if anyone listened to my "Keep Listening" mp3's - I doubt it, maybe the recyclers can go do that - no-one touched it. (The first mp3 is actually strong views against God - I bet you didn't know that).

I guess what can you expect, the polls speak for them self as to who is here.

Thank you very much dean-dzai, for moderating a civil discussion. I also agree with some other members comments that religion causes problems, or the lack of religion, I should think, and no open forum such as this will cause anyone to change their opinions. (Maybe it will?) Finally, there is no use in continuing the thread.

So start another one?

And yes, I am a Christian, and nothing can change my faith in God.

Merry Christmas!

And I'm a non-beliver, and nothing can change my faith in science.

Lets all call it quits on this front.
