""You have exceeded your maximum allowed limit of 5 ads."" !!!???

Seems that I'm not the only confused user!

I get this message ""You have exceeded your maximum allowed limit of 5 ads."" - Yet I recall, somewhere else on this website the limit was written as **TEN** adverts !

My own adverts have disappeared down the stack of those arriving after mine, and even if I could "drill down" to find them - will I be able to "Zap" one or more of them to squeeze in another one?

Five advert limit seems remarkably parsimonious for a website that ought to be trying to outdo other competitive sites I feel.

In the past, I've had to aggregate several items into one advert just to bend myself round this miniscule limit.

This time, I didn't do that as I *had* hoped that the "new" board would have resolved that difficulty!

Whilst I realise that "Shri & gang" has the "right" to impose whatever restrictions he likes on "his" website - it seems to me to be like a "Cutting off your nose to spite your face" attitude if his intention is to really compete with the other - much more prominent website - or even the other pallid expat website.


Oh well, back to the other competing sites to post un-commercial & unrestricted amounts of stuff I'd like to recycle.

Havent we been through this before with your other identities?

Sorry, 5 ads are more than enough for our users. The only folks who seem to complain are those who want to post their ebay excesses that no one seems to want to buy.

Those who want more, can pay for a subscription (like many do). Or ask me nicely and I'm more than happy to increase the quotas for the folks who genuinely want to do a house clearing sale or are listing on behalf of charities.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out ...
